Cyprus’s first Dog Fest arrives in Nicosia, tails set to wag

9/5/2026

Cyprus’s inaugural Dog Fest will run on September 19 and 20 at the State Fairground’s Pavilion 6 in Nicosia, gathering pet brands, industry professionals and dog owners for a two‑day celebration.

More than 55 exhibitors — ranging from pet shops and food makers to accessory firms, groomers, trainers and veterinarians — will showcase their offerings, according to the organisers.

Attendees can browse new products, purchase supplies, and enjoy free samples, contests and giveaways throughout the venue.

The festival is split into themed zones. The Action Arena will feature agility and obedience demos plus games and interactive activities for dogs. On the Main Stage, backed by Purina Pro Plan, experts will discuss health, care, nutrition and training. The Paws & Play Zone offers children face painting, games, a photobooth and other fun, while the Adopt & Love corner, supported by Hill’s, highlights adoption and responsible pet ownership. Outside, the Food & Drinks Village provides food, drinks and music for the whole family.

Sponsors include Petfood Cyprus as platinum partner, Royal Canin as gold partner and Alphamega Hypermarkets as silver partner.

Dog Fest Cyprus opens daily from 10:00 to 20:00. Tickets cost €5 per person and are sold via more.com; children up to 12 enter free. Dogs accompany their guardians at no charge. Each ticket comes with a €5 online voucher for Pet Food Cyprus, redeemable on purchases of €25 or more under the sponsor’s terms.

All dogs must stay on a fixed leash and be supervised at all times, with leashes only removed during designated activities. Organisers advise that dogs who are ill, especially fearful, or unaccustomed to crowds, children, noise or other dogs should not attend. Guardians are responsible for their dogs’ behaviour, safety and waste; water stations and bins will be provided on site.
